[Music| The Beatles - Hello Goodbye]

Note to self: Always read The Star Tribune site before posting a pointless post at Blogger. Indeed, I have found something to talk and think about at my local newspaper's site. The link: 7 nations named in US nuke plan.

Chilling. The term "surprising military developments" is especially scary.

*Turns on Dave Matthews Band - When The World Ends*

It's a scary thought. Unless we deter it somehow, the sun will one day explode, like all stars, and we'll all be dead. Earth will be a faint memory. But. That's a good five billion years away at least. Their problem. What would be horrible is if us humans hate each other so much that they end it's life five billion years too soon, give or take a year. Think footage of the World Trade Center collapsing was bad? Imagine a new nuclear attack on NYC. When the world ends. The buildings of Chicago, blasted, gone. When the world ends. LA. Gone. When the world ends. Oh, hell, Minneapolis, those beautiful skyscrapers I look out upon every day, gone. When the world ends.

Come on people. Can't we get along for a mere five billion years?

[Music| Anger Turned Inward - New Day]

High school. The debate as to which path I choose continues. I have my choice, my parents have theirs. I have a feeling this will never end. Ever.

I have nothing else to say. This week has been yet another long, boring week with mind-numbingly simple school and little to think about. Here's to next week.

[Music| The Beatles - Help From My Friends]

Just a quick update for now. Anyone who knows me will tell you that I love baseball. Absolutely love it. And, as it's getting warmer and the year is progressing (despite the inch or so of snow that fell today), I'm getting more and more excited for the upcoming season.

Even more exciting is that the Twins, my favorite team, the only team I really care about, did not get contracted in the offseason. Eat that, Selig!

So I was at MLB.com, checking out the Spring Training standings, and was delighted at the sights. The Twins, at 5-3, are the second best in the AL (second only to the 3-1 Anaheim Angels), and the Montreal Expos, who were slated to be the Twins' contraction mates, are on top of the NL with a 4-1 record. Eat THAT, Selig! Hoo-HAH!

If the Twins and Expos are in the World Series this season, well, I'll be in heaven.
